Q: How do I place an order?

You can place your order online using our secure checkout or call customer support, Toll Free: 1- 888-672-4816.


Q: How long does it take to ship the item?

We ship Monday through Friday via FedEx, USPS or DHL. The processing time may take anywhere from 24-72 business hours and then the shipping time. Most order ship within 24 business hours. Ground shipping time vary from 1-7 business days for most areas. We offer a free ground shipping within the 48 Lower States. Expedited shipping is available during the checkout.


Q: What info do you need for programming?

Depending on the Year, Make a Model – we will need the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), mileage, and part number from the module. Contact us if you need any help.


Q: How can I get the tracking number?

Your tracking number will be forwarded to the e-mail address supplied with your order. You can also call our Customer Support at 1-888-672-4816 Mon-Fri 8:30 am to 8:30 pm EST – and provide your order number for status/shipping information.


Q: Does this part come with a warranty?

Unless expressly stated, our parts are covered by one (1) year warranty with an exchange of the rebuildable core.


Q: Can I purchase an additional warranty?

Yes, you can. Our parts are eligible for 2 year Warranty, for an additional $50.00 or Lifetime Warranty for an additional $100.00 . The warranty is non-transferable.


Q: What happens if I don’t return my old module (core)?

Exchanges are required for all purchases unless stated. You may be a subject to a Core Charge, in addition to a cancelled warranty if you do not return your old module. Core(s) must be returned with the Return Authorization Page within 14 days after receiving your replacement unit to validate the warranty and avoid the Core Charge. We will provide you with a pre-paid label to return your core. By accepting our part(s), you agree to pay a core fee up to $100.00 for gas parts and $250 for diesel parts in the event that you do not return the core(s) to us within the stated time frame. Core must be in rebuildable condition. If you do not have the old part or you would like to keep your old part, please contact us before placing an order.


Q: What if we do not have your module in stock?

If you order a module and we do not have a replacement in stock, you will be notified via email if there is a delay in process your order. We'll order the replacement unit and typically rebuild it within our standard processing time (exclusions apply). AMS stocks over 100,000 units so it’s very rare to not have your part in stock. Remember we offer a Price-Match Guarantee  - simply call us with the vehicles info (VIN# & Part#)  and the site info you are looking at - so we can confirm the compatibility. 


Q: Can I return the part (computer module) if it does not work?

This is an electrical part. If you have any questions about a replacement module, please e-mail or call us before completing your purchase. Other external factors may cause the module to not function correctly after installation. (speak to customer support with any questions) Installing your remanufactured prior to resolving other unrelated issues may damage your replacement unit. If you ordered the wrong part we will exchange it for the correct part. (shipping fees will be your responsibility). You can return the item within 14 days for a refund. After 14 days you will be a subject to 25% Restocking Fee and the Shipping Charges. There is no refunds after 60 days. 


Q: Can I get a refund if I do not need the part/computer module?

Yes, you have 14 days to return the part/computer module from the time it’s received. There is a 25% restocking fee plus shipping/handling. There are NO REFUNDS after 14 days.


Q: Do you ship outside of the US?

For shipping quote outside of the 48 Lower States and outside of the US, please contact our Main Office at 1-888-672-4816.


Q: Do I need to have any additional programming once I receive my part?

Most of our parts are shipped plug-and-play. All Chrysler products are plug-and-play. Some Ford and Honda models will require a locksmith to calibrate the ignition after the part is installed.


Q: What is your Core Return Policy?

Auto Module Source offers quality remanufactured parts to our customers with no upfront core charge! We ask that your core(s) are returned within 14 days from the time you receive your replacement. For orders placed within the 48 Lower States, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label for you to return your core(s). Once you receive the remanufactured unit, place the old/used core in a plain-brown box and include a copy of your invoice, return authorization page, or order confirmation. Ensure that all critical components are protected, such as encoder sensors and nozzle tips. Properly seal the box with the core(s) and invoice enclosed and place the prepaid shipping label visibly and securely on the box. Then proceed to drop off the package at your nearest FedEx/USPS store. Cores are inspected upon arrival according to the core criteria listed below. If they fail to meet the criteria, we will notify you with available options. We promise to be open and transparent with our operations. After 14 days, we will notify and charge you for the cores. If you require extra time, you must notify us before the 14 day deadline. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns and we will be more than happy to assist you.

All cores must be repairable
Any core returned with fire damage will not be accepted
Tampered, or “worked on”, core will not be acceptable
Returning core must have readable part numbers
